The RIDER is designed to be easily transportable by air, including by transport aircraft and helicopters, meeting the requirements of missions that demand maximum mobility. With mechanical differential locks at both the front and rear and a tight turning circle, it provides excellent crossing capacity, essential in challenging terrains.
Its payload capacity reaches 900 kg, which can be increased by an additional 400 kg with a trailer, making it an ideal vehicle for transporting equipment. The RIDER can also be fitted with two 7.76 mm machine guns, compatible with NATO cones, and is capable of towing a Mo120 RT mortar. With an empty mass of 1000 kg and a permitted total mass of 1900 kg, its dimensions include a length of 2600 mm, a width of 1600 mm, and a height of 1900 mm.
This vehicle features a winch with a textile cable capable of supporting 1.8 tons and can be configured with all-terrain or mud-terrain tires, thus offering unparalleled versatility. Its 60 hp diesel engine complies with Tier 3A Caterpillar standards, ensuring reliable and efficient performance.
The RIDER is particularly suited for flexible deployment in the field, enabling combatants to quickly and efficiently load their equipment. It plays a crucial role in defending deployment areas, supporting rapid deployment operations for airborne infiltrations, and establishing tactical support and command zones. Additionally, it provides local logistic support and can respond in emergencies.
The manufacturer of this vehicle, recognized for its constant innovation in defense equipment, strengthens its position in the international market with the RIDER. The proliferation of this vehicle among defense forces worldwide is a testament to its adaptation to the evolving needs of modern warfare and military logistics.
