This contract is part of the U.S. Army’s Range Radar Replacement Program, aimed at modernizing the radars on its test ranges. The objective is to equip these ranges with new technologies that offer improved testing capabilities and reduced life-cycle costs. By deploying modern radar designs, the Army seeks to evaluate the capabilities and limitations of its critical equipment. The new system is crucial not only for supporting current operations but also for preparing for future conflicts.

Kevin Hair, president and CEO of SRC, expressed his pride in the company's participation in this project. "SRC is honored to be part of the Range Radar Replacement Program and help ensure our military is outfitted with the best tools to prepare for new and emerging threats," he stated. "We look forward to delivering an innovative system that supports the Army's testing capabilities and evaluation needs."

The Long-Range Radar developed by SRC will play an essential role in maintaining the U.S. Army's technological superiority. In addition to its applications in safety and testing, this radar will enable more effective and precise evaluations of military equipment, contributing to the armed forces' preparedness for future challenges.

This contract marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between SRC and the U.S. Army, illustrating the confidence placed in SRC’s technological capabilities. With this initiative, the Army continues to modernize its testing infrastructure, thereby strengthening its strategic and operational position globally.
