KNDS France took center stage with a showcase of their Centurio UGVs (Unmanned Ground Vehicles) and ULTRO UGV, demonstrating significant advancements in autonomous military operations. The exhibition also featured two revolutionary gun systems: the Ascalon 120 and Ascalon 140. These state-of-the-art weapons offer distinct visions for the future of Main Battle Tanks (MBT), represented by the Leclerc Evolution and the EMBT (Enhanced Main Battle Tank). A standout feature of these systems is their modularity, allowing for seamless transitions between different configurations.
The spotlight also fell on the Caesar Mk2, poised to replace the earlier Caesar MK1. This artillery system promises enhanced performance and adaptability on the modern battlefield.
Adding to the technological display, Slovenian company Strix introduced their innovative electric motorbikes, designed to provide silent and efficient transportation for military operations. These motorbikes exemplify the shift towards more sustainable and versatile military mobility solutions.
Concluding the day's highlights, the Canadian firm Paradigm Shift presented their advanced Enhanced Physical Vapor Deposition (EPVD®) technology. This cutting-edge process is set to revolutionize the coating industry, offering superior durability and performance for military applications.
