The
ship will continue accomplishing assigned tasks within Russia’s
Pacific Fleet, the spokesman added. "The Project 1155 large anti-submarine warfare ship Admiral Tributs will re-enter service with the Russian Navy in July after the Dalzavod Ship-Repairing Enterprise repairs it and recovers its technical readiness," Dygalo said. "The ship will continue accomplishing tasks as part of Russia’s Pacific Fleet. The ship is currently undergoing trials," he added. According to the spokesman, six Project 1155 large anti-submarine ships operational with Russia’s Northern and Pacific Fleets are planned to undergo repair and upgrade before 2021 under the state defense contract. A large volume of work will be conducted onboard the vessels to renew their life support systems and radio technical armament in accordance with the Navy’s technical specifications. The Project 1155 large anti-submarine ships make up the mainstay of the Russian Navy’s anti-submarine forces and can operate in distant sea and ocean areas both independently and within a formation. © Copyright 2015 TASS.
