TenCate Advanced Armour can support shipyards with extensive engineering support to reach the lightest solution possible with the least negative on ship maneuverability ensuring the end-user a highly seaworthy ship in all conditions.

Composite survivability solutions from TenCate Advanced Armour have a proven track record and remain in use with several navies around the world. The solutions have been deployed to and performed in highly differentiating environments from sea lane patrols in the Arctic Sea to anti-piracy operations along the Gulf of Aden.

TenCate Advanced Armour provides the modular panel kits to provide protection in accordance with NATO STANAG 4569 level 1, level 2, and level 3. Based on end-user requirements TenCate Advanced Armour will develop a solution that employs the vessel structure as part of the ballistic material to significantly decrease the overall weight of the solution.

Special attention is given to the coverage of the ship, and TenCate Advanced Armour can assist shipyards in reaching 90% coverage as required by the NATO STANAG. For windows and other potential ballistic gaps, TenCate Advanced Armour can provide specially developed armored overlap solution between opaque and armored glass.

The solution is developed out of a philosophy of modularity, enabling the crew to replace damaged panels while carrying a minimum of spares.
