New primary electromagnetic treatment for Russian Navy Graivoron Buyan-M class corvette Project 21631.
According to information published by the Russian press agency TASS on September 4, 2020, Russian Navy Graivoron latest Buyan-M class corvette of project 21631 built for the Black Sea fleet underwent primary electromagnetic treatment, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

“The treatment was done in Voennaya Bay of Novorossiisk by a deperming bench,” it said.
The electromagnetic treatment improves the operation of navigational complexes and protection against precision weapons, non-contact mines and torpedoes.
The crew has already boarded the corvette after retraining in the Navy center in St. Petersburg. The sailors studied the mechanisms and equipment of project 21631 at a shipyard.
The Graivoron arrived in Novorossiisk naval base in mid-August 2020 for factory and acceptance trials. It is the fourth project 21631 corvette in the Black Sea fleet which already operates the Vyshny Volochek, the Orekhovo-Zuevo, and the Ingushetia.
The Graivoron is a Project 21631 Buyan-M corvette developed by Zelenodolsk Design Bureau for the Russian Navy. The ship is designed to conduct anti-surface warfare (ASuW) combat missions with secondary air defense capability thanks to four Igla-1M surface-to-air missiles (SAM). The armament consists of a single A-190 100mm cannon, two AK-630M anti-aircraft guns, eight Club-S Kalibr anti-ship missiles, and four Igla-1M SAMs mounted on a 3M47 Gibka launcher. She is also armed with 14.5mm and 7.62mm machine guns.
