Lays keel for the first Ada-class corvette for Ukrainian Navy.
According to information published by the Ukrainian Military Center on September 2021, the Turkish Shipyard STM lays keel of the first Ada-class corvette for the Ukrainian Naval Forces during a ceremony in presence of the Commander of the Navy, Oleksiy Neizhpapa.

The Ada class is a class of anti-submarine corvettes developed primarily for the Turkish Navy but also for export as part of the MILGEM project.
The ship is equipped with the modern surface, subsurface and anti-air weapons, sensors and combat management system.
The Ada-class corvette is powered by a Combined diesel and gas (CODAG) propulsion system including a gas turbine rated at 23,000 kilowatts (31,000 hp) and two diesel engines rated at 4,320 kW (5,790 hp). Each diesel engine drives one controllable pitch propeller via a two-speed main reduction gear. The ship can reach a top speed of 30 kn (56 km/h; 35 mph) with a maximum cruising range of 3,500 nmi (6,500 km; 4,000 mi) at 15 kn (28 km/h; 17 mph).
The Ada-class corvette has a length of 99.56 m, a beam of 14.4 m, and a draft of 3.9 m. The ship has an endurance of 21 days with logistic support and 10 days in autonomous conditions. The ship has a crew of 93 sailors and can accommodate up to 106 people. She has a platform and hanger to carry one naval helicopter.
The Ada-class corvette is armed with one 76 mm (3 in) Oto Melara Super Rapid naval gun, two 12.7 mm (0.50 in) ASELSAN STAMP Stabilized Machine Gun turret, eight anti-ship missiles Harpoon or Atmaca, and two 324 mm (13 in) Mk.32 triple launchers for Mk.46 torpedoes.
