NAVDEX 2021: Atlas Elektronik Group showcases SEA Class 11 Workboat.
At NAVDEX 2021, the International Land Defense Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, UK company Atlas Elektronik Group showcases SEA Class 11 Workboat. Having a modular and reconfigurable capacity for logistics, diving training and operations, officer training, hydrographic survey and passenger transportation the SEA Class Marine Craft range provides a highly flexible and innovative range of maritime capabilities.

A further strength of the SEA Class range is that it is fully compatible with other AEUK systems such as the ATLAS autonomy engine, Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW), Towed side-scan sonar, Minesweeping and disposal, UUV launch and recovery, making it proficient in any environment.
The SEA Class 11 Workboat is the workhouse of the ATLAS range of craft and has been developed to provide a flexible and reconfigurable capability for navies.
The craft is designed to be ship-deployed and is able to carry heavy payloads at high speeds. Fitted with a hydraulic crane or davit and deck cargo rails, the craft is ideal for ship-to-ship and littoral logistics operations.
The SEA Class 11 Workboat is has a length of 11m, a beam of 3.35m, and a displacement of 9500 kg. The Workboat has a top speed of over 40 knots and is powered by twin-engine and water-jet. The rear part of the boat can carry a total of 12 personnel.
The majority of the SEA class construction is being done in the UK. The main manufacture and assembly are done at AEUK’s Winfrith facility in Dorset, with testing on the Bincleaves Range in Portland Harbour.
