Philippine Navy's Jose Rizal class frigates to test fire Mistral 3 missiles.
According to information published by the Philippine News Agency on May 20, 2022, the Philippine Navy (PN) announced that the Mistral 3 missiles of its two Jose Rizal-class frigates will be test-fired in June.

The Jose Rizal-class of multi-role lightweight frigates, currently in service with the Philippine Navy, is a heavily modified variant of the ROK Navy's Incheon-class frigates. The ships, which were built by Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), are specifically accommodated to fit the requirements of the Philippine Navy.
The class has a length of 107.5 meters (352 ft 8 in), a beam of 13.8 m (45 ft 3 in), and a draft of 3.65 m (12 ft 0 in). She can reach a top speed of 25 knots (46 km/h; 29 mph).
The Philippine frigates have a standard displacement of about 2,600 tons. The diesel main power plant under the CODAD scheme should provide a cruising range of 4500 nautical miles at a speed of 15 knots.
The Jose Rizal-class is armed with one OTO Melara 76 mm Super Rapid naval gun, one ASELSAN SMASH 30 mm gun, four S&T Motiv K6 .50 cal (12.7 mm) machine guns, one Close-in weapon system (FFBNW), four LIGNex1 SSM-700K C-Star anti-ship missile on twin canisters, two MBDA Mistral Simbad-RC twin launchers, 8-cell Vertical Launching System (FFBNW) and two SEA triple torpedo tubes.
