PT Pal Indonesia launches the hospital ship KRI Dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat.

According to information published by PT Pal on August 15, 2022, the company has launched the 2nd Hospital ship KRI Dr. Radjiman Wedyodiningrat as a gift for Indonesia's 77th Anniversary.

KRI dr Radjiman Wedyodiningrat (992) has hospital capabilities equivalent to a Type "C" Hospital. The medical equipment facilities include a radiology room, operating / surgical room, and postoperative room with a capacity of three people.

There is an isolation room with a capacity of two men and two women and treatment rooms for men and women which can each accommodate 46 people. Then, there is a baby room, delivery room, examination room, emergency room with a capacity of 12 people, a laboratory, and a morgue with a capacity of four bodies.

Meanwhile, other facilities owned by KRI dr Radjiman Wedyodiningrat-992 are X-Ray Stationary 500 Ma, CT-Scan, C-Arm, Panoramic, Chepalometric Dental X-Ray, Digital Radiography System, 4-Dimensional Ultrasound, Blood Bank Refrigerator, Central Gas Medic & Generator to produce oxygen gas.

The specifications of KRI dr Radjiman Wedyodiningrat (992), among others, have a total length of about 124 meters, weighing approximately 7,300 tons with a speed of more than 18 knots. This ship is also reinforced by five MDG generators with a capacity of 565 kW each, one 425 kW EDG unit.

As for personnel capacity, the ship is able to carry as many as 163 crew members, 18 helly pilots & crew, one guest (VVIP), 66 medical staff, 158 patients, and 280 volunteers.

The ship is also able to survive for 30 days at sea with the ability to load material / on board three helicopters (two on the heli deck and one in the hangar), two ambulance boats, two LCVP units, and one RHIB unit.
