Organized by the Qatar Armed Forces, DIMDEX 2024 adopts the theme "Igniting the Future of Maritime Security and Beyond," promising to expand its offerings to include other crucial defense categories, thereby complementing the security of the maritime ecosystem. This will provide exhibitors with the opportunity to showcase their latest innovations and integrated solutions while offering thought leaders a platform to discuss recent developments in the field.
Since its inception in 2008, DIMDEX has seen continuous growth, becoming a staple event in the international calendar of the maritime defense and security industry. The main exhibition will be complemented by the Middle East Naval Commanders Conference (MENC), a highlight of each edition, drawing leaders from around the world to discuss trends, challenges, and solutions in maritime defense and security. The event will also spotlight emerging technologies, including cybersecurity software, anti-piracy systems, artificial intelligence (AI), C5ISR systems, and unmanned systems.
Lieutenant General Staff (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Mohammed bin Aqeel Al Nabit, Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces, stated: "Qatar continues to enhance its defense capabilities and develop international strategic partnerships. In this context, DIMDEX significantly contributes to the country's National Vision 2030 and supports the ongoing security and prosperity of the nation."
Brigadier General Staff (Sea) Abdulbaqi Saleh Al-Ansari, Chairman of DIMDEX, added: "DIMDEX promises to host another successful and productive edition that will address current challenges and threats. Over the years, DIMDEX has emerged as a leading platform showcasing the latest innovations in defense, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence, which are all crucial to the success of today's defense missions. We look forward to welcoming exhibitors and visitors to DIMDEX this year and further solidifying its position as one of the most significant and dynamic exhibitions for showcasing advanced defense capabilities to protect the global maritime domain."
The international event invites visitors to register now to participate in the various aspects of DIMDEX.
