CMN Naval from France delivers last batch of HSI32 to Saudi Arabia.

According to information published by GAMI on February 28, 2023, the French company CMN Naval and Zamil Offshore have delivered the last batch of Interceptor HSI32 to Royal Saudi Navy.

The Sea Proven Interceptor HSI32 vessel, based on a Deep Vee planning hull with hard chines, is designed for various maritime security and law enforcement missions, including piracy and smuggling interdiction, sea strike operations, protection of vulnerable vessels and offshore installations, combined operations with aircraft and coastal surveillance systems, and search and rescue operations.

The vessel is equipped with competitive features such as a maximum speed of over 48 knots, an optimized hull form for high-speed navigation in planning mode, all missions planned and executed from the wheelhouse, and a perfect 360-degree view around the vessel. It can accommodate up to 64 persons in the occasion of SAR missions, and has a crew of 12.

The main characteristics of the vessel include a length overall of 32.20 m, a beam overall of 7.00 m, and a maximum draught of 1.40 m. It has a range of 580 nautical miles at 33 knots, and fuel capacity of 20 m3 and fresh water capacity of 1 m3. The hull and superstructure are made of aluminum.
