The JARI-USV-A measures 58 meters in length, 23 meters in width, and has a depth of 4 meters, with a displacement of 420 tons. This vessel is powered by a diesel-electric dual-mode propulsion system, enabling it to operate autonomously or in coordinated formations for medium to long-range missions.
It features advanced autonomous capabilities, including situational awareness and target identification through information fusion. The vessel can independently plan and execute tasks, intelligently managing its platform and payload based on operational needs.
Armed with a diverse arsenal, the JARI-USV-A is equipped for surface, land, and air combat. Its weapons systems range from machine guns and ship-to-ship missiles to rocket shells and ship-to-air missiles. Additionally, it is capable of anti-submarine warfare with torpedoes and other underwater munitions.
The vessel's cooperative capabilities include working in tandem with unmanned aerial and underwater vehicles. This coordination extends to other manned and unmanned platforms, enhancing its operational versatility.
With a top speed of 42 knots and a payload capacity of 70 tons, the JARI-USV-A excels in stealth and agility. It can engage in a variety of military operations, such as remote strikes, air defense, and anti-submarine activities.
In favorable hydrological conditions and up to sea state level 3, the JARI-USV-A "ORCA" can effectively target submarines over a range exceeding 7 kilometers. Its advanced information processing capabilities enable it to handle and analyze substantial data volumes from diverse sensors and sources efficiently. In terms of navigational precision, the JARI-USV-A demonstrates remarkable accuracy, maintaining navigation control within a 10-meter margin.
