Indonesia Navy's frigate KRI RE Martadinata visits Sri Lanka.
According to information published by the Indonesian MFA on February 7, 2023, the Martadinata class frigate KRI RE Martadinata docked at the port of Colombo Port, Sri Lanka, prior to the AMAN 2023 exercise in Pakistan.

AMAN series of multinational exercises were started in 2007 with a view to promote regional cooperation and stability, greater interoperability and to display a united resolve against terrorism and crimes in the maritime domain including Piracy. AMAN-23 is the 8th such exercise planned from 10-14 February 2023 in Karachi, Pakistan.
About the Martadinata class frigate
The KRI Raden Eddy Martadinata is the lead ship of the Martadinata-class frigates of the Indonesian Navy. She has a displacement of 2,365 tons and a length of 105.11 meters.
The ship is equipped with a combined diesel or electric propulsion system, which gives her a maximum speed of 28 knots and a cruising speed of 18 knots.
The Martadinata-class frigate has a range of 3,600 nautical miles when cruising and can endure more than 20 days at sea. The crew complement is 122 personnel.
The ship is equipped with advanced sensors, processing systems, and armaments, including a 76mm OTO Melara gun, a 35mm Rheinmetall Oerlikon Millennium Gun, and missiles such as MBDA VL MICA and Exocet MM40 Block III. The Martadinata-class frigate also has a helicopter hangar and flight deck to carry a AS565 Panther helicopter.
