Rheinmetall is delivering a Total Ship Trainer to the Royal Thai Navy, which includes 20 individual simulators and a training building constructed by Rheinmetall Electronics in Bremen.

The Naval Mission Training Center (NMTC) also comprises four associated classroom trainers and briefing/debriefing equipment. The NMTC system is capable of combining individual simulators for "Total Ship Training," allowing joint team training of a ship's crew members, optimizing communication methods and operational procedures in various naval warfare scenarios.

In addition to system integration, Thai naval instructors underwent intensive training on all simulators of the Total Ship Trainer configuration and the server system in Germany from October 2022 to January 2023.

The system was transported by sea to the Sattahip naval base for commissioning, and final acceptance by the customer is expected in July 2023. Rheinmetall is exhibiting at IMDEX Asia in Singapore from May 3 to 5, 2023, at booth Q09.
