A26 Submarine Program

The A26 submarine program, initiated by Saab for the Swedish Navy, focuses on developing submarines equipped with modern capabilities. These submarines are designed for versatility in a range of missions, including intelligence and anti-submarine warfare.

The design also includes a special portal for deploying divers and unmanned vehicles, demonstrating the emphasis on adaptability and multifunctionality. International Collaborations and Proposals

Saab's role in submarine technology extends beyond domestic projects, as evidenced by their proposal to the Netherlands for replacing the Dutch Walrus-class submarines. This proposal suggests providing the Netherlands with advanced Expeditionary Submarines, incorporating current innovations and technology.
