On the morning of July 25, the jet ski was found near Çatalca Beach, packed with explosives. It is believed that the jet ski, converted into a kamikaze drone, belongs to Ukraine, particularly the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), which has previously used such devices for attacks on Black Sea Fleet targets in Crimea.

The jet ski may have been lost during the recent Ukrainian attack on Novorossiysk earlier this month. Turkish Navy specialists and bomb technicians cordoned off the beach before securing the jet ski and bringing it ashore. It was noted that the jet ski was equipped with several cameras in addition to the explosives.

It is noteworthy that Kyiv employs various types of unmanned boats for attacks on Russian ships and facilities, with different models used by the SBU, the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR), and the Ukrainian Navy.

Ukrainian USVs

Ukraine has deployed several types of unmanned surface vessels (USVs) in its naval operations. One of the most prominent USVs in their arsenal is the Magura V5, which has been instrumental in targeting Russian vessels in the Black Sea.

The Magura V5 features a range of 800 kilometers and can reach speeds up to 75 kilometers per hour. It is used for reconnaissance, surveillance, and direct attacks, often operating in "swarms" to overwhelm defenses.

Another USV is the Sea Baby, which is designed to be nearly invisible to radar and can carry up to 850 kilograms of explosives. This USV has a top speed of 90 kilometers per hour and can travel distances up to 1,000 kilometers.

The Sea Baby is equipped with various navigation systems, including GPS and inertial navigation systems (INS), and can be programmed to identify and attack specific targets.

These USVs have been effectively used in multiple operations, including the targeting of the Russian naval base in Sevastopol and attacks on key Russian infrastructure like the Kerch Bridge.
