The Magura V5 is designed for various military operations, including surveillance, reconnaissance, patrolling, search and rescue, mine countermeasures, and maritime security. This USV has a length of 5.5 meters, a width of 1.5 meters, and a gross weight of 1000 kg. It can carry a payload of up to 320 kg and has an operational range of up to 800 km, with autonomy of up to 60 hours.

The vessel is equipped with multiple navigation methods, including automatic GNSS, inertial, and visual systems. It can transmit up to three HD video streams simultaneously, enhancing its situational awareness capabilities. The Magura V5 features advanced sensors such as LIDAR, thermal imaging cameras, and high-resolution optical cameras, allowing for comprehensive monitoring and reconnaissance tasks.

Despite its robust capabilities, there is no specific mention of a lithium-ion battery in the sources reviewed. Instead, the focus is on its overall technological advancements and modular design, which enables the integration of various payloads, including remote weapon stations and electronic warfare modules. The Magura V5 also incorporates enhanced cybersecurity measures to protect against electronic warfare and cyber-attacks.
