Over the past year and a half, this drone has been instrumental in damaging 18 Russian vessels. According to Thirteenth, the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Crimea is effectively paralyzed, with the most modern and vital assets already withdrawn from Sevastopol. The fleet, he noted, continues to consume Russian budget resources without being able to perform its intended functions.

Magura V5

Key technical features of the MAgura V5 include a length of approximately 5.5 to 6 meters, a cruising speed of 22 knots, and a top speed of 42 knots.

The drone is designed to be highly stealthy, with a low radar signature due to its plastic hull and minimal thermal emission, making it difficult for enemy forces to detect. It can operate at ranges up to 800 kilometers, allowing for deep-strike capabilities, and can carry a payload of up to 320 kilograms, typically consisting of explosives for kamikaze-style attacks.

The MAgura V5 has been notably effective in combat, credited with sinking or damaging multiple Russian vessels, including larger ships like the Ivanovets missile boat and the Cesar Kunikov landing ship.

One of the most innovative aspects of the MAgura V5 is its use of networked operations, where multiple drones can coordinate attacks and share data even if individual drones lose contact with their controllers. This resilience is critical in contested environments where electronic warfare is prevalent. The USV also features advanced navigation and communication systems, including encrypted satellite link.
