David Massey, CEO of ADSB, stated that the collaboration with Hensoldt will focus on integrating sensor solutions into shipbuilding operations. Russell Gould, Head of Group Global Business Development at Hensoldt, highlighted the naval sector as a key area for the company and noted that the MoU with ADSB would support the provision of naval solutions while extending market presence, including in the UAE.
Hensoldt develops radar systems such as the Quadome 3D Air and Surface Surveillance radar and the TRS-4D radar, which utilize software-defined Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) technology. Radars from the TRS-4D product family are deployed on German Navy vessels, including the F125 frigate and the K130 corvette. The company also supplies Integrated Navigation Bridge Systems (INBS) and maritime electromagnetic warfare systems for naval applications.

ADSB continues to expand its global market reach in both military and civilian sectors.
Hensoldt, headquartered in Taufkirchen near Munich, develops sensor solutions for defense and security applications. As a system integrator, it specializes in networked sensor technologies and defense electronics. In 2023, Hensoldt reported a turnover of 1.85 billion euros and expanded its capabilities through the acquisition of ESG GmbH, increasing its workforce to approximately 8,000 employees.
The MoU between ADSB and Hensoldt is intended to strengthen naval technology capabilities and open market opportunities for both companies. The collaboration focuses on the development and integration of sensor and naval solutions to support defense operations in the region and beyond.
