Tunisia will receive more AM General HMMWV (High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle) as part of a recently awarded Foreign Military Sales contract. The contract will be implemented by the US Defense Logistics Agency.

The 28 M1165A1 HMMWV vehicles will have been delivered by mid-2016 with a total cost of USD10.35 million. The new batch of vehicles will complement the 52 that were delivered last May. They will further enhance the Tunisian Army’s mobility in the security operations against jihadists.
