Chinese army soldiers have received new individual protective masks.

The commanding officers of the regiment said that the new professional filtering protective mask used in the exercise is made up of canister, head-wearing face mask, air duct and mask bag, and is equipped with such accessories as resistor, bracket and spare part bag.

The major component of the new protective mask is a greatly improved cylindrical green canister that is connected to the mask through a hose. The canister is made of more advanced materials, which effectively increases its ability to deal with various toxic substances and prolongs its effective storage duration and service time.

The new protective mask has been adjusted in such parts as communications equipment, eyelens and head harness, which increases its safety, comfort and filtration efficiency for use. Without feeling any discomfort after putting it on, soldiers could breathe easily and move freely.
