TNI Indonesian Army delivers certification for special vehicles carrying Astros rocket containers


On October 17, 2023, Brigadier General Hery Setiyono, S.Sos., M.M., the Head of the Indonesian Army Research and Development Service (Kadislitbangad), presented a Certificate of Material Certification for specialized vehicles designed to transport Astros rocket munition containers, Defense Studies reports. This certification was the culmination of Defense Research and Development (Litbanghan) conducted at the Army Equipment Center (Puspalad), located in Dislitbangad, Matraman, East Jakarta.

In an official statement issued by Puspalad Information, a division dedicated to research and development within the Indonesian Army, we are pleased to announce the successful completion of certification tests for a specialized vehicle designed for transporting Astros rocket munition containers. These tests were conducted under the auspices of the Dislitbangad.

Following a comprehensive assessment, the vehicle has been awarded a certification, signifying its suitability for consideration by the general staff in shaping policies that support the core responsibilities of the Indonesian Army (TNI AD). The evaluation encompassed various critical aspects, including construction and equipment, performance capabilities, operational efficiency, and human factors.

This achievement holds significant significance for advancing materials and capabilities within the Indonesian Army, as these products are the outcome of a fruitful collaboration between the TNI Army Equipment Center and PT. Garuda Makmur Perkasa.
