Mine-resistant vehicles are crucial in the conflict in Ukraine, as the Russians have heavily mined large areas. The acquisition of these new vehicles is therefore quite significant.

The Lavr can be equipped with an open-top turret or a remotely operated weapons station, compatible with 7.62 mm or 12.7 mm machine guns. Powered by a 4.2L V8 diesel engine, the vehicle can reach speeds of up to 110 km/h on roads and 60 km/h off-road. Its average operational range is around 750 km. The LAVR "Titan-S" can withstand fire from weapons of 5.45 mm and 7.62 mm calibers, as well as shell fragments.

Built on a Toyota Land Cruiser 79 series OEM chassis, the Lavr offers both spare parts availability and cost-effective maintenance. Its design follows the classic layout of armored vehicles, featuring an engine at the front, a central crew compartment, and a rear section for additional troops. It can accommodate eight individuals, including the driver and the commander. The multi-purpose nature of the Lavr "Titan-S" allows it to be deployed in a variety of missions, ranging from reconnaissance to direct combat.

The delivery of such vehicles is quite important for Ukraine, especially in the context of its counter-offensive that has been underway for several months. The Russians have heavily fortified their positions, and demining is slow and costly for Ukrainian forces. Vehicles capable of operating in such environments with reduced risk to the crew are a considerable asset.
