Ukrainian army uses Finnish Vammas 120mm KRH 92 mortars
Ukraine Weapons Tracker OSINT researchers spotted Finnish-made 120 KRH 92 mortars in the possession of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, mil.in.ua reported on 16 August. Pictures showing the use of such mortars were released on Twitter.

This mortar model is manufactured by the Finnish company Vammas. The use of these weapons is recorded for the first time, mil.in.ua writes. In addition, Finland hasn’t announced the transfer of these mortars. 20 KRH 92 is a 120 mm mortar manufactured in Finland. There are some units that keep the old base plates and carriages. They are known as 120 KRH 92 76 and 120 KRH 92 85.
The Finnish army has 698 120-mm 120 KRH 92 mortars in service, and 60 older 120 KRH 85 are still used for training.
As previously reported by mil.in.ua, Finnish instructors will train Ukrainian soldiers in Great Britain. So far, 20 military personnel from Finland have been sent to the United Kingdom to implement the intended training. Notice that Finland already provided military aid to Ukraine several times without disclosing the contents of the some seven packages of defense aid totaling €88,16 million.
