Syrian government forces attack the rebels in the city of Homs with artillery and rockets. | |||
A
Syrian military assault on Homs has killed dozens of people, as world
powers scramble for a diplomatic strategy to end the violence in the country
after the defeat of a UN Security Council resolution. Heavy artillery
and rockets fire by Syrian government forces has been rocking the city
this morning as attacks resumed with almost constant explosions. |
