The deliveries included a variety of advanced small arms tailored to the demands of modern military operations. Among the equipment delivered were modernized AK-12 assault rifles and Chukavin sniper rifles (SVCh), as well as Dragunov sniper rifles with folding stocks (SVDS), SV-98 sniper rifles, GP-34 under-barrel grenade launchers (40 mm), and PPK-20 submachine guns (9 mm). These systems are already deployed in active operational zones, highlighting their immediate impact on combat effectiveness.

Alan Lushnikov, President of JSC Concern Kalashnikov and member of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia, emphasized the importance of this achievement: "The delivery figures for 2024 in combat small arms are exceptionally high and are expected to grow further in 2025. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of our enterprise’s team, we ensure that our servicemen receive the necessary weapons and equipment on time."

Kalashnikov had previously announced the early fulfillment of specific deliveries, notably for the AK-12 and SVCh rifles. The financial impact of this accelerated production schedule is also notable, with revenues for the first ten months of 2024 far exceeding those recorded in the same period of 2023.

The AK-12 assault rifle represents the evolution of the iconic Kalashnikov line, with improvements in accuracy, maneuverability, and modularity. Designed to adapt to various combat scenarios, it features tactical accessory rails and a reduced recoil system, enhancing shooter comfort. Its deployment ensures greater effectiveness for infantry troops in close and mid-range engagements.

The SVCh is a semi-automatic sniper rifle designed to replace the Dragunov (SVD). With high precision at long range, it incorporates modern technologies and a modular design that simplifies maintenance. It provides a crucial advantage for snipers, allowing them to neutralize strategic targets effectively while maintaining mobility.

A modernized version of the SVD, the SVDS features a folding stock, making it particularly suited for combat in difficult or confined terrain. It remains a reliable reference for snipers, thanks to its robustness and ability to function in extreme conditions while offering decisive firepower at medium range.

Designed for specialized snipers, the SV-98 is a bolt-action rifle offering exceptional precision at very long range. It is used for missions requiring the neutralization of critical targets and plays a key role in operations demanding precise and discreet shooting, such as anti-terrorist assaults or special operations.

The GP-34 is an under-barrel grenade launcher that enhances soldiers’ firepower with great versatility. It can fire a variety of explosives, smoke, or illuminating munitions, making units more effective at neutralizing fortified enemy positions or creating smoke screens to cover tactical movements.

The PPK-20 is a compact and lightweight weapon ideal for close-quarters combat, such as in buildings or vehicles. Offering a high rate of fire and superior maneuverability, it is particularly suited for special forces and missions requiring rapid intervention.

By emphasizing innovation and timely deliveries, Kalashnikov reaffirms its key role in Russia's defense industrial complex, providing cutting-edge systems tailored to the growing demands of modern battlefields. The success of these deliveries not only underscores the company’s operational efficiency but also strengthens frontline troops’ capabilities in high-stakes engagements.
