Today, Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) provide significant supporting capabilities in military operations worldwide. When UGVs are used to their full potential, the number of casualties is decreased and the combat effectiveness of warfighters is increased. UGVs are being developed in different sizes to meet different mission capability requirements.
According to the manufacturer, the Acrob is one of the most acrobatic unmanned ground vehicles manufactured worldwide. Its name comes directly from acrobats through its physical capabilities and from scorpions through its core design.
The Acrob has been designed to conduct intelligence and reconnaissance missions and is equipped with Day/Night color cameras. The Acrob is based on two axles wheeled chassis and can easily climb stairs and slopes up to 20 cm as well as vertical obstacles of up to 25 cm.
The Acrob is electrically powered by Li/Ion batteries and can be controlled to a maximum range of 500 m. It is a small UGV with a length of 65 cm, a width of 31 cm, and a height of 14 cm.
