Chinese army uses new Dragon & Horse II 8x8 UGV Unmanned Ground Vehicle to carry ammunition
According to a video released by the Chinese Military CCTV 7, the Chinese-made Dragon & Horse II 8x8 UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) entered service with the Chinese army and is used as a cargo vehicle to carry ammunition.

The Dragon & Horse II is a new generation of all-terrain vehicles designed and manufactured by the Chinese company Sunward Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. It was unveiled in November 2018, during the AirShow China that was held in Zhuhai.
The Dragon & Horse II is based on a very unique 8x8 chassis with and fully independent axle mounted at the rear and the front of the vehicle and two axles in the middle offering a very high level of mobility. Thanks to its 8x8 configuration, the vehicle also has an excellent obstacle crossing capability and is adapted to cross various landforms such as plateau, hills, basins, rivers, mountains, etc.
The Dragon & Horse II can cross a 1.2 m vertical obstacle, cross a trench of 1.8 m, turn zero radius steering, climb and stand a 35 degrees ramp. It has a length of 5,019 mm, a width of 1,810 mm, and a height of 1,588 mm. The vehicle is powered by a single turbo-diesel engine (70 kW/2600 rpm), allowing a range of 200 km on road and 100 km off-road and a maximum speed of 50 km/h.
The Dragon & Horse II can carry up to 1,000 kg of various payloads. It provides a standard electrical and flange-carrying interface, which is compatible with a variety of combat modules.
The Dragon & Horse II UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) was unveiled in November 2018 at AirShow China.
