Streit Group has launched new Cougar 2 LAMV Light Armoured Multipurpose Vehicle.

STREIT Group, one of the world’s largest armored vehicles manufacturing company has launched the Cougar 2, LAMV (Light Armoured Multipurpose Vehicle), a modernized version of the previous model of Cougar 4x4 light armoured vehicle designed and manufactured by Streit Group.

Recently, security situations all over Africa and Middle-East region has been observed with growing threats and vulnerability of soldiers. To respond to these new threats, Streit Group has used the experience of the previous version of the Cougar to offer a new design of the vehicle with advanced protection and additional options.
The new Cougar 2 LAMV has also new suspension and engine upgrade. The vehicle provides a seating capacity of 10 personnel including driver and commander. It is more lighter to offers more mobility. The Cougar 2 can be used for Police operations, border control, airport security or anti-terrorist operations. The vehicle can be configured to be used as APC (Armoured Personnel Carrier) but also as Armored Ambulance. |
