The basic Atlaf 1 from SVOS can be equipped with one 7.62 mm or 12,7 mm machine gun. The Atlaf 1 can be fitted with a remote controlled weapon station armed with weapons up to 12.7 mm calibre or a 40 mm calibre automatic grenade launcher.

The Atlaf 1 provides all-around crew and passenger ballistic protection against standard and special ammunition and against AP/AT mines and hand grenades in compliance with STANAG 4569.

|
The Atlaf 1 SVOS uses a 4x4 chassis. The vehicle is motorized with a Cummins 306 kW engine coupled to an Allison 6 speed automatic transmission.
