Technical Data
Armament |
Thanks to Warrior's 360-degree traversing armored turret Streit offers numerous options to integrate various weapon components, such as rocket launch systems, remote-controlled weapon stations with machine gun 7.62 or 12.7 mm caliber, and smoke-grenade launchers. Seven gun ports can be optionally added to the doors and windows. As it was showcased during Eurosatory 2014, a Shershen-D double-channel portable anti-tank missile system can be mounted on the Warrior's rooftop. The Shershen is a Belarussian-made third-generation anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) that is designed to defeat modern armored vehicles, protected objects (such as bunkers, pillboxes, earth-and-timber emplacements), and low-speed low-altitude targets (helicopters, UAVs). The Shershen-D is equipped with two firing channels. The missile operator can perform all the firing operations from inside the vehicle under the protection of the armor of the vehicle. To increase the survivability of the crew, the missile can be fired thanks to a remote control panel allowing operators to be positioned at a distance up to 100 meters from the launcher undercover with a wire channel or 300 m with radio control. The remote launcher station, complete with a rotating platform, has horizontal and vertical remote-controlled electrical servo drives and automatic target tracking allowing the system to track moving targets such as attacking helicopters without the operator's participation. The Shershen is equipped with a Fire-and-Forget guidance system which does not require further guidance after launch such as illumination of the target or wire guidance, and can hit its target without the launcher being in line-of-sight of the target. The Shershen launching station uses a laser range finder for the target designator with a laser range control from 100 to 5,500 m. The missile can hit moving and stationary targets at a maximum range of 5,500m during day and night operations. The Shershen uses a warhead with tandem-charge which able the missile to penetrate armor of a thickness of 1,100mm maximum.

Warrior have been developed around the trusted Ford F550 chassis, this allows the user to benefit from a lower life cycle cost and easy access to spare and replacement parts, this firmly puts Warrior as the best value-for-money option available. The innovation in design has provided Warrior vehicles with extraordinary capabilities of deployment on any surface or territory. Large doors allow easy and quick deployment. Warrior has also a rear door, which can be opened more than 90°, for easy loading of equipment or rapid landing of personnel. Two escape hatches are available on the rear roof and in different designs, based on customer requirements. Engine bay and fuel tank protection are designed to offer greater comprehensive blast protection to vital components. Warrior offers excellent protection against both ballistic and blast threats, the armored hull has been developed and manufactured utilizing the latest generation armored materials, this allows Streit Group to offer a highly protected structure at a lower weight compared to other vehicles currently available on the market. The crew compartment is protected with CEN Level BR6 armor, which protects the crew against 7.62x51 mm NATO ammunition fired 10m away.
