Design and protection |
The Wolf armored monocoque hull provides protection against small-arms fire, shell fragments and IED blasts. The armor and the bulletproof windows provide a protection with a STANAG 4569 Level 3 and ensure the crew safety against small arms firing, artillery shell splinters and against mines and IED. The concept of the protection of the "Wolf" family is built on the basis of world experience according to the frame-and-panel type. The special feature of the range family “Wolf” is the fact that it originally was developed both in the armored version due to the installation of attached frame-and-panel armor and anti-mine protection with the increase of performance level as no armour vehicle. The installation and the disassembling of the armor can be done without effort by the personnel, and without the use of specific tools.
