On Wednesday December 19, 2012, Dassault Aviation organized a flight demonstration of the nEUROn at Istres, for the French and foreign authorities involved in the program. The Head of the French defense procurement agency DGA, Laurent Collet-Billon, and several of his counterparts, CEOs of the main partner companies, several diplomats, generals and journalists were present.An F-35A conventional takeoff and landing aircraft completed the first in-flight missile launch of an AIM-120 during tests held Wednesday over Point Mugu Sea Test Range.
