The aim of this project was emphasized during helicopter training exercises at European level. Between 2009 and 2013, 150 helicopters, about 280 crews and 8,850 support staff have been engaged in multinational exercises that were held in France (Gap), Spain, Italy, Portugal and Belgium. At least 50% of them are now operational in the field. "We are pleased to continue our collaboration with the European Defence Agency in the field of training of helicopter pilots," said General Patrick Tanguy, Director of DCI-COFRAS. "This is an important topic that deserves a strong involvement with each seeking synergies consolidating European defense policy and security. " |
