L-3 Link Simulation and Training, a business of L-3 Communications, did not disclose the value or other details of the contract. Oman ordered eight of the training aircraft from BAE Systems in 2012, along with a dozen Typhoon fighter jets. "L-3 is very
pleased that our growing relationship with BAE Systems has enabled us
to add another world-class aircraft to the portfolio of platforms we
support with advanced training solutions," said Lenny Genna, president
of L-3 Link. "We look forward to developing and delivering training
equipment that will enable Royal Air Force of Oman pilots to sharpen
their basic fighter jet skills." |
