Il-112V military transport aircraft will make its second flight early in 2020.

Russia’s new Il-112V military transport aircraft is expected to make its second flight early in 2020, the aircraft’s chief designer, Sergei Lyashenko, told TASS.

"It’s the start of 2020. As for the date, we are not planning anything ahead," he said when asked about the date of the second Il-112V flight.

An Il-112V has made its first test flight from the airfield of the Voronezh Aircraft-Building Society (VASO). Hero of Russia Nikolai Kuimov, a test pilot of the Ilyushin Aviation Complex, flew the aircraft on its maiden flight, which lasted for 45 minutes.
