Russia and Malaysia discuss MiG-35, Yak-130 supplies.

Russia and Malaysia continue to discuss the supplies of MiG-35 and Yak-130 aircraft, Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said after a meeting of the bilateral commission on economic, scientific and cultural cooperation.

"There are commissions for military-technical cooperation which discuss such issues. I am sure we shall continue to discuss the issue, as Malaysia has a major experience in operating MiG-29 and Su-30," he said.

Rosoboronexport representative Sergey Gorbenko said at LIMA-2019 show in March that Russia would bid at a tender to supply Yak-130 training aircraft to Malaysia. Head of the United Aircraft Corporation Yuri Slyusar expressed hope that MiG-35 will be exported to various countries, including Malaysia.
