USMC and Bahrain AH-1Z and UH-60V helicopters to get new Northrop Grumman mission computers.
The U.S. Navy has awarded Northrop Grumman a $104.0-million, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for procurement of up to 503 technical refresh mission computers for AH-1Z, UH-1Y, and UH-60V helicopters, including production units, retrofit units, and spare units.

The contract covers services for the US. Marine Corps, Defense Logistics Agency, and the government of Bahrain under the Foreign Military Sales Act. The contracted work will be performed in Salt Lake City, Utah (55 %), Baltimore, Md. (25 %), and Woodland Hills, Calif. (20 %), and is expected to be completed in December 2023.
At the time of the award, no funds were obligated, and will instead be assigned on individual delivery orders as they are issued. The U.S. Naval Air Systems Command at Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
