The test was supervised by Pak Jong Chon, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, and Kim Jong Sik, First Deputy Director of the Central Committee of the WPK.

The test was carried out using the first stage engine of a solid-fuel intermediate-range ballistic missile within a range of 170 to 200 km. This approach ensures maximum safety and allows for the measurement of the flight characteristics of individual mobile warheads.

The goal of the test was to strike three distinct targets, applying the MIRV (Multiple Independent Reentry Vehicle) protocol. This technology allows for targeting and striking different targets once separation is achieved. The test has been announced as having validated this capability.

In parallel, a secondary test was conducted involving a decoy, visible in the photo, which is a small object designed to deceive anti-aircraft radars and prevent the interception of this type of missile.

It was noted that this missile launch is part of the normal activities of North Korea's Missile Administration and its affiliated defense scientific institutes for the technical upgrading of weapon systems.

According to the administration, it is of great importance for the strengthening of the DPRK's missile forces and the development of missile technologies that these technological tests enter a large-scale phase.

The senior officials who supervised the test stated that strengthening MIRV capability is a very important defense technology task and a top priority of the Central Committee of the WPK. They emphasized the need to take appropriate scientific and technological measures to further improve the effectiveness of the test.
