Indonesian warship will be installed
the guided missile China |
The
Republic of Indonesia warship (KRI)
will be armed with artificial China
guided missiles, Chief of Indonesian
Navy Laksamana Madya TNI Agus Suhartono
in Jakarta, on Monday (21/12/09).
"Previously, we carried out
the test and used the guided missile
C-802 with good results." And
the procurement was continued by
us and currently is being processed
by the Department of the Defence,
he said.

China
to Help Indonesia Develop Defense
Technology |
Following
on from the signing of a memorandum
of understanding by both Indonesia
and China in 2007, the two countries
are set to ink a new deal to work
more closely in military technology,
a top Defense Ministry official
said on Wednesday, Antara reports
"China will help Indonesia
develop its military technology,"
the director of strategic environment
analysis, Brig. Gen. Subekti, said
in Beijing.
