in China's eastern metropolis Shanghai Wednesday, Oct. 27,
2004. The comprehensive exercise, which is staged to test
the emergency services' reactions in a simulated terrorist
urban attack, is the first of its kind ever held in Shanghai,
Xinhua news agency said.

of the capital plagued by political violence. The poor neighborhood
is full of supporters of former President Jean-Bertrand
Aristide, who went into exile amid an armed revolt in February.
More than 50 people have been killed this month in clashes
between pro- and anti-Aristide gangs in Bel-Air and other
slums where the former president had strong support.

02, 2004, the 6° Engineer Regiment celebrated its 110°
birthday. During this day we could admire professionalism
and serious men of the regiment at the time of the dynamic
demonstration which implemented the means of crossing of
this unit. With the association of the city of Angers where
is based the unit, a part of the equipment of the 6°
Engineer were deployed in the center of the city. The team
