The
deFNder system is the first in a series of such designs
and is easily mounted on vehicles or installed in a static
position to protect sensitive sites such as embassies, military
facilities and secured border environments. When the mission
requires bringing a high volume of accurate fire on target
while keeping the weapon operator safe and secure, the mission
calls for the new FN Light Remotely-operated Weapon Stations
(LRWS).
Based on reliable and state-of-the-art technologies, the
FN Herstal deFNder Light Remotely Operated Weapon Station
has been designed to be used for self-defense missions when
mounted onto light, medium or heavy vehicles, perimeter
defense missions (border control, protection of military
compounds, official buildings, etc.). |
