The production of the Russo-Indian missiles Brahmos will double within two years.
 
 
The joint venture Russo-Indian Brahmos Aerospace, active in the production of supersonic missiles, plans to double its production within two years, declared with RIA Novosti the chairman of the company, Sivathanu Pillai.

According to Sivathanu Plundered, the production of the company is already expanding and could reach 150 missiles per year in 2013, against 60 to 50 units at present. Russian NPO Mashinostroyenia, member of the joint venture, already made increase the production of his components.

The supersonic cruise missile BrahMos, which the name come from the Indian name of the rivers Brahmapoutra and Russian Moskova, was designed jointly by Russian Company NPO Mashinostroyenia and the Indian Organization of military research and development (Defense Research and Development Organization).
