Highly manoeuvrable mobile Manpads missile sytem “KUSZA” is designed four countering air threat, including fighter jets, helicopters, UAVs and UCAVs and other similar aerial platforms. The system is equipped with “fire and forget” type GROM MANPADS missiles, with highly sensitive and accurate optoelectronic sight devices, which make easy to manually search, track and counter the air attacking platforms. GROM missiles are housed in standard launchers equipped with autonomous Gripstock and BCU (Battery Coolant Unit). Sight and communication systems are power supplied from high capacity batteries or power supply generator, what gives independence from external power supply for many hours of operational time. |

construction allows changing quickly the deployment position with use
of various transport platforms.
The KUSZA vehicle can carried 4 Manpads GROM missiles. The Grom is a man-portable air-defense system produced in Poland. It consists of a 72 mm anti-aircraft missile set with a flight speed of 650 m/s, as well as a single-use launcher, re-usable gripstock and thermal battery coolant assembly electric unit. |
