Syrian government forces has reinforced its positions in and around Aleppo.

Rebels claimed to destroy several government armoured vehicles. Colonel Abdel Jabbar al-Oqaidi of the rebel Free Syrian Army said his forces on Saturday had repulsed troops in Salaheddin district and that the regime offensive had been temporarily stopped.Syrian government forces are preparing a massive assault against the rebels in the city of Aleppo. In the capital Damascus, the forces of the President Bashar al-Assad fight the last rebels with tanks and armoured vehicles.
