Ukrainian Defense Company AutoKrAZ unveils new KrAZ-5233BE Spetsnaz 4WD all-terrain vehicle 1510131.

KrAZ Spetsnaz is used for carrying personnel of military units, unconventional units and UN peace-keeping forces, towing of artillery systems with a caliber of up to 152 mm and trailers over all kinds of roads and terrains. The vehicle is provided with the YaMZ-238??2 engine coupled with the ZF clutch and manual 9-speed transmission.

The KrAZ-5233 ?? truck is equipped with a centralized tyre inflation system ensuring high cross-country ability on low-load-bearing capacity soils, as well as with a winch with tractive force up to 12 t.


The official of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Defense Attaché of the RF Embassy to Ukraine, Colonel A.Baranov who came to see the company’s stand said that the vehicle was very powerful and special hatch on cab roof improved crew safety and made possible employing fire for convoy cover. Moreover, he said that Russian army has long-term positive experience of use of KrAZ trucks.

In his turn, the defense attaché of Egypt who examined the KrAZ-5233BE Spetsnaz truck gave a high praise to it and said that Egyptian army was very glad with various models of KrAZ trucks purchased under contracts within 2008-2013, the number of which exceeds 500 units. KrAZ trucks have no equal in reliability and endurance, they tackle their job.
