Ministry of Defence Industry of Azerbaijan Republic unveils a new 107mm
MLRS Multiple Launch Rocket System mobile complex at ADEX 2014, International
Defense Industry Exhibition in Baku. Two launchers of 107mm rockets are
mounted at the rear of a light tactical vehicle to increase mobility and
firepower for fast reaction forces. |

The vehicle is based on the chassis of a FORD pickup XLT 6x6 model motorized with a 6.7L V-8 400hp engine intercooled turbo coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Two single doors are fitted to each side of the vehicle. Driver and commander are seated at the front of the vehicle. Two 12-round elevatable
launchers are fitted at the rear of the vehicle. The two launchers are
mounted on a turntable with powered elevation from 0 to +60º and
powered traverse of 110º left and 90° right. The vehicle is fitted with remote and on board automatic fire guidance. Standard equipment of the vehicle includes navigation system, GPS and autonomous navigation system. |
