The
E-JTAC LTD of Elbit Systems is one of the lightest weight laser targeting/hand-off
solutions available for foot mobile warfighters with day and night capabilities.
It provides JTACs a foot mobile solution for terminal guidance of munitions, laser hand-off to aircraft, and direction and distance finding with 5029 messaging to GPS targeting systems. To facilitate night missions, the EJTAC LTD also has an internal high-power NIR laser pointer, which is permanently boresighted to the laser designator/rangefinder laser. The EJTAC LTD is a single box that replaces a laser designator, laser marker, laser rangefinder and/or a NIR pointer. The Enhanced Joint Terminal Attack Controller Laser Target Designator (EJTAC LTD) is a light-weight laser designator/rangefinder, at less than 2 kg, is a foot mobile solution for guidance of munitions and a laser hand-off to aircraft. Featuring a digital magnetic compass and near infrared laser pointer, the EJTAC LTD is effective during both day and night missions. |
