the 8th IDEAS exhibition, which is held until Thursday 4 December in Karachi,
China North Industries Corporation (NORINCO) has chosen to showcase its
new CS/SM2 8x8 120mm wheeled self-propelled mortar. |

The
CS/SM2 120mm 8x8 wheeled self-propelled mortar is mainly used accompanying
artillery to main battle tanks. It can give quick fire support to neutralize
field fortifications and covered targets, e.g. command center, artillery
troops, etc., and to suppress hostile effectives on reverse slope position,
in valley or behind trees.
The CS/SM2 is characterized
by its indirect fire capability, good armour protection, high cross-country
and amphibious mobility, short deployment time, high reliability and
maintainability. |
